Teacher s Day was celebrated at the Pujya Thakkar Bapa Residential Girls School in Gobaraula, run by the Uttar Pradesh Vanvasi Seva Sansthan. The girls made beautiful arrangements. The school was run entirely by girls. Shruti, the Principal, Karishma, and Riya Sarojini, the Accountant, played the roles of all the staff and conducted the classes beautifully. Following this, the girls organized a program in which all the teachers were seated with a tilak (a mark of respect) applied to them. The program was inaugurated by lighting a lamp in front of the statue of Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. All the participating girls shared their experiences. Accountant Lakhpati Singh then shed light on the life of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, describing his journey from a teacher to Vice President and President. Principal Brijesh Kumar described the glory of the Guru, saying that the Guru illuminates all his children like the sun. Guru is strict as well as very gentle. Guru, like a potter, grooms his children and makes them beautiful like a pot. Hence, the glory of Guru is immense and Guru is worshipable. All the teachers and wardens also gave their statements. In the end, the girls honoured all the teachers on the occasion of Teachers Day. All the staff of the school, Rambabu, Ramdulari, Ramprakash, Sarojini, Priyanka, Rinka, Asha Warden Madhusingh, Doctor Ramshish Ram and the girls contributed in making this programme successful.
