A special health check-up program

A special health check-up program was organized at the Pujya Thakkar Bapa Residential Girls School in Gobraula operated by the Uttar Pradesh Vanvasi Seva Sansthan with a specific focus on safeguarding the health of the students. This program was conducted by a team from the Community Health Center (CHC), Palia.

During this event, Dr. Deepika Dera and her team from CHC Palia conducted TB (Tuberculosis) screenings and X-ray examinations for the students present at the school. The primary objective of these examinations was to identify serious diseases, such as TB, in their early stages among the students and to ensure timely treatment.

Key Highlights of the Program:
Health Check-up: An assessment of the students' general health status was conducted.
TB Screening: Specialized screening was performed to identify potential symptoms of TB.
X-ray Facility: X-rays were conducted for students deemed in need to confirm the presence of the disease.
Health Counseling: Students were sensitized regarding hygiene, nutrition, and disease prevention.
