Independence Day was celebrated today

Independence Day was celebrated today, August 15, at the office of the Uttar Pradesh Banvasi Seva Sansthan. The event featured the hoisting of the national flag by the chief guest, Shri Ajay Kumar Chaubey (General Secretary, Bharatiya Adim Jati Sevak Sangh, New Delhi), followed by the singing of the National Anthem and 'Vande Mataram'. Addressing the children, he remarked that they are the future of the nation and that nurturing their future is a collective responsibility, as the next generation and future obligations will rest in their hands; the goal is to empower and enrich society to further strengthen the country. He noted that it was on this day that India gained independence from British rule—a freedom aimed at guiding society toward new progress and empowering the nation, while setting an example of dedication to the country. The event was attended by Uttar Pradesh Banvasi Seva Sansthan Secretary Amit Kumar, Program In-charge Pushpendra Singh, Supervisor Asif Ali, Anil Kumar, Vikas Kumar, Neha Tiwari, Accountant Ashna, and Shishu Palna Kendra teacher Urmila Rana, among others Along with education and skills, children need strong values to become responsible citizens. Values such as honesty, compassion, respect, discipline and cooperation help individuals contribute positively to society. National celebrations can help introduce these values in an engaging manner. The National Anthem, national flag and patriotic songs provide children with a shared experience and encourage respect for the country. At the same time, children can learn that patriotism is not limited to ceremonies. It also involves respecting others, following responsibilities, helping people in need, protecting public resources and contributing positively to the community. The message delivered during the programme encouraged children to understand their future responsibilities and recognise the importance of contributing to society
